How the cascading reels work
The base game uses cascading wins. When a winning combination lands, those symbols are removed and new symbols fall into the open positions. If the new arrangement creates another winner, the process repeats without requiring another paid spin.
In this version, those repeated cascades also lead toward the main feature. Light & Wonder’s published description says the Journey Feature triggers when the cascade effect occurs at least four times during one spin. The exact number matters because the game is built around a chain of results, not four unrelated spins.
The Journey Feature
Triggering the feature launches the reels toward Planet Moolah and awards free games. During the flight, the presentation can produce credit and multiplier awards. Once the game arrives at Planet Moolah, the Planet Wheel can appear and add other bonus outcomes.
The Unicow is the game’s signature character. If one appears on the wager that triggers the Journey Feature, the destination changes to Cowtopia at the center of Planet Moolah. The cabinet’s oversized “UNICOW!” display makes that character part of the physical identity of the game, not just another symbol on the reels.
What makes this version different?
Journey to the Planet Moolah connects three ideas in a clear sequence:
- Winning symbols disappear and allow another cascade.
- A long enough cascade chain triggers the Journey Feature.
- The trip, Planet Wheel, and special cow characters modify the free-game experience.
Together, those steps organize the playful alien-cow theme around building one result into the next.
